Staff, Interns and volunteers who work at the ACAM studio, located in Abington High School, will be provided training about the nature and transmission of COVID19, appropriate handwashing techniques, and appropriate use of PPE.
All staff, interns and volunteers are asked to maintain a 6-feet of distance between themselves and others. Signage will be displayed throughout the facility reminding all inhabitants on the importance of maintaining six feet of space and social distancing.
- Members may reserve use of the facility via email or phone, no walk-ins allowed.
- Members must reserve time to work only on Abington CAM related content and productions.
- A minimum of 48 hours advance notice for all reservations.
- Members may only edit for a maximum of two (2) hours per day and a maximum of four (4) hours per week.
- No more than three(3) staff, interns, or volunteers are allowed in the control room during a production. Partitions will be used if the space requires additional assistance.
- Continued failure to maintain a safe and healthy workspace will result in loss of privileges.
Staff, interns and volunteers will self-monitor for COVID19 symptoms and will NOT report to work or visit the studio if any of the following are true:
- Have been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by a doctor or local public health official.
- Have had close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID19 in the past 14 days.
- Have experienced any of the following symptoms within the past 72 hours: flu-like symptoms, signs of a fever, a measured temperature above 100.3 degrees or greater, a cough, or shortness of breath, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea
All staff, interns, volunteers and visitors are required to wear face masks or covering (covering both the nose and mouth) while in shared areas of the ACAM studio. The staff may remove their masks while alone in private offices with the door closed. Staff members who work in shared areas of the studio may take mask breaks as needed in a secluded space designated by the executive director with greater than six-feet of distance from any other individual. Individuals in the control room or in the editing lab should be spaced at least six feet apart from each other.
Staff members who routinely meet with other staff and visitors in their office should use floor markings to indicate six feet of distance. To allow for 6-feet of distance during meetings, the staff may need to make use of the available office or studio space.
At times, it will be impossible to ensure six feet of distance (e.g., passing in a narrow hallway) and staff are asked to keep these encounters as short as possible.
Staff, interns and volunteers are asked to have their temperature checked and wash their hands or use hand-sanitizer upon entering Abington CAM. Staff members should also wash their hands or use hand-sanitizer after using shared supplies, such as copy machines, laminators, shredders, and shared staplers. Also, it is expected that the staff, interns and volunteers wash their hands or use hand-sanitizer after eating and using the restroom.
The staff, interns and volunteers should spray down surfaces using Buckeye E23 or similar cleansing agents following meetings if a visitor or colleague interacted with the surfaces. Surfaces like door handles, desks, chairs and frequently touched surfaces will be wiped down daily. Depending on studio use and visitors, surfaces would be cleaned more frequently. In the main office, signage will be provided to indicate that visitors and staff should not touch shared surfaces, such as computers and desks.
